How Has Celiac Disease Affected You ?

Letters of Appreciation and Knowledge

Since I was diagnosed with Celiac at quite a young age, 2 years old, I have come to the realization that many of my family and friends were also affected by my diagnosis. People like my parents, sisters, grandparents, cousins, and closest friends have altered their own lives and routines, just to keep me healthy. With that being said, I asked them to write me a letter and I did not give them much direction, but here is the prompt I spontaneously sent, on a Sunday night, to about 20 of the people that I consider to have made an impact on my journey through life:
Write a letter to me, adding whatever you want, but specifically including your own thoughts, perceptions, and feelings about what it has been like for you since I was diagnosed with Celiac. I would love to learn about your own benefits, appreciations, and effects you have faced while being on this, so far, 18-year long learning journey.
I chose to start this tab of my blog because I want to bring awareness to the positive aspects that come along with having Celiac Disease. In my perspective, the best thing to come of this disease has been the appreciation for the people I have in my corner.

I would love to receive letters from those that have questions for me, have been effected by Celiac as well, or for those that just wanna reach out. If you are interested in writing a letter for my blog, or just to me personally, please send it to my email that is listed under the contact tab of my website.
